“But you are a chosen race, a royal priesthood, a holy nation, a people for his own possession, that you may proclaim the excellencies of him who called you out of darkness into his marvelous light.”  (1 Peter 2:9) 

What a great summary of our identity and purpose in Christ! We are chosen, we are set apart, God’s own people, and our role in the kingdom is to serve as a Royal Priesthood, living for the worship of God alone. We hope this season will serve as a bootcamp of sorts, to train us up to live a life worthy of our calling, first by helping us better understand the God we serve and His purposes, and then exploring all the diverse responsibilities and blessings we have as his kingdom priests.

The priesthood is the inheritance of every believer, not a select few uber Christians. We invite you to join us on this foundational journey, a journey of unpacking what the Scriptures teach about Who God is, why he made the world, the purpose of human history, and therefore who You are, and Your purpose on this planet.
